My Take on ...... * Army Navy*

On the way to Tagaytay via Sta Rosa we passed by Solenad that became the new spot for people who wants to unwind after a long day/week at work.  There are plenty of food establishment in the area.  From Bread Talk to Chubby’s Ribs down to the Milk Tea craze at Serenitea.  We decided to have our dinner at Army Navy before hitting Tagaytay to relax.

Sorry for the blurred picture

Burger with Cheese and Bacon  Php 205.00

The Classic AN Burger, beef patty on a sesame seed kaiser bun topped with onion, lettuce and tomato with ketchup and mayo as dressing.  Opted for additional cheese and bacon.  The patty was tender and juicy and the veggies are crisp that added a different texture to every bite.

Steak Burrito with Cheese  Php 195.00
The Steak Burrito is a flour tortilla filled with steak, Spanish rice, beans, onions, lettuce and cilantro and served with salsa and a slice of lime.  It’s a complete meal. You get the carbs, protein, vitamins and minerals.  It was so filling that I felt overly bloated after finishing it..(takaw kasi eh!)

Freedom Fries  Php 65.00
Seasoned, thin cut, crispy fries

Libertea  Php 65.00

My Take on ...... * Mad Mark's*

Because of my fond in following food blogs. At the start of 2012 I have a page in my planner dedicated to “to try restos” actually I had 3 pages dedicated to the list….(addicted lang), and checked each name after I had a chance of trying it out.  One of which is Mad Mark’s in Kapitolyo.  After office my Dear buddy decided to check out this hole-in-the-wall resto.

No Shortcuts! No Compromise!

They are also known for their Home made Ice cream

The Pasta and sandwich is good for sharing (2-3 person)

East meets West Pasta  Php 240.00

The “Man” Sandwich  Php 290.00
The must try in Mad Mark’s aside from their delicioso sandwich is their Ice Cream…that is made from scratch…We tried the Half Baked Madagascar (which is one of their best seller) and the Javan Hot Chocolate…

Super Duper OKei =) =) =) (Price, Location, Food)

The parking could be a problem on peak hours, but it’s a great way to burn all those fat you intake by walking if you happen to park far from the resto.

Ola!

Welcome!

Welcome to me on my new quest and new way of expressing my views, feelings and thoughts.  I’m new on this field and I am very much excited to learn and hone my skills in blogging.  So bear with me and hope I can help in my own little way.

What made me decide to blog?

Ahhhh!!!! Since my high school days I’m so into cooking…I remember I will always watch cooking shows and helping my Mom in the kitchen. When I entered college I decided to take up Hotel and Restaurant Managament because I want a subject that will have hands-on cooking class.  Then I found myself having passion for food.  I love eating, trying out new menu, new places to eat.  I became a follower of food blogs and decided to put up a blog to keep track and records of my resto hopping.

My Favorite Food Bloggers/Blogsite which I visit regularly (as in everyday!)
OurAwesomePlanet by Anton Diaz – www.ourawesomeplanet.com
Frannywanny – www.frannywanny.com
Beetween Bites – www.janedchua.com

Everytime they post their food reviews it made me drool and want to go to the resto right away.

Also an avid follower of dapattylaurel.blogspot and her friend Allesandra of life-after-breakfast.blogspot

There are lots of blogsites that I frequently visit and love ‘em all…=)
