If I want a real deal (masarap na swak pa sa budget) when it comes to burger I will go to Maginhawa and eat at BRGR The Burger Project. I first learned about this place on TV features and visited them for quite a number of times . A build your own burger is very interesting. You have the freedom on what you want on your burger. From the bun up to the sauce, your choice, your burger.
A self service and pay as you order concept. You will be handed a form and a colored pen then the choosing begins. There are 6 steps in building your own burger.
Step 1: Choose your burger (the patty)
Step 2: Choose your Bun
Step 3: Choose your Cheese
Step 4: Choose your Premium Toppings
Step 5: Choose your Basic Toppings
Step 6: Choose your Sauce
Each component have corresponding prices, so it depends on the burger builder how much his burger will cost, but some are free like the sesame bun, tomato, pickles and lettuce. What’s more fun in building your own burger is that you can name your burger. Your own imbento na plus you got to name it pa.
Presenting… “Burger ni Dora”! I chose a 100% Single Beef Patty in a Sesame Bun with Cheddar Cheese, Sauteed Mixed Mushroom, Caramelized Onions, Pineapple Slice, Tomato and Pickles with a special BRGR Sauce. The patty is well cooked and moist. Combination of salty, sweet and sour. Lahat ng nilagay ko favorite ko. I really enjoyed my creation.
Tabachoy chose a tofu patty with mozzarella, onion rings, jalapeno, tomato, lettuce, pickles and pesto sauce. He said that the pesto overpower all the veggies and cannot taste the tofu anymore, but still enjoyed his burger.
Burger Project also offers designer burger for those who can’t make up their mind on what to put in their burger.
We also tried their Mozarella Sticks that comes with a Marinara Sauce. Crispy on the outside and gooey inside.
I have to visit them again real soon. Also to see the new look.
